Why It Exists

A Directory Built by the Community, For the Community

Search for Latino-owned businesses in Baltimore and you rarely get a real answer. You get scattered listings, dead links, and places that closed years ago. Colado Latino Network built this directory to fix that: one place where nuestra gente can find each other and actually spend with each other.

Every business here is Latino-owned and added by hand. This is not a scraped list or a pay-to-play ad board. Businesses join through the network, and each one is reviewed before it goes live. That is what community-vetted means: real people, real businesses, checked by us.

Free to List

No fees, no tiers, no catch. Adding your business costs nothing, and it always will. Add your business in about five minutes.

Seen by Nuestra Gente

Your listing reaches the Latino professionals, business owners, and event-goers already in the Colado network. People who came here specifically to support businesses like yours.

More Than a Listing

The directory is one door into Colado. From here you can come to an event or get paired with someone through Colado Connects.

The businesses in the directory span professional services, beauty and personal care, creative and media, food, and more, across Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and the greater DMV. However you found us, if you are Latino-owned and serving this area, there is a place for you here.

01

Submit your listing

Fill out the short form with your business name, category, a quick description, and how people can reach you. About five minutes.

02

We review it by hand

A real person checks that your business is Latino-owned and serving the area before anything goes live. No bots, no auto-approve.

03

You go live

Your business appears in the directory where the Colado community can find you, reach out, and spend with you.

Directory FAQ

Listing Your Business, Answered

Everything you need to know about getting your Latino-owned business into the Colado directory. If your question is not here, reach out through the contact page and a real person will get back to you.

Is it free to list my business in the directory?
Yes. Listing your business in the Colado Latino Network directory is completely free, with no tiers and no hidden fees. We built this to help the community find and support Latino-owned businesses, not to sell ad space. Add your business here.
Who can be listed in the directory?
Any Latino-owned business serving Baltimore or the greater DMV is welcome, from a full storefront to a one-person service or a side business you are just getting off the ground. You do not need to have attended a Colado event to be listed.
How are businesses reviewed before they appear?
Every submission is reviewed by hand before it goes live. We check that each listing is a real, Latino-owned business so the directory stays something the community can actually trust. That is what we mean by community-vetted.
Do I have to be a Colado member or come to an event to be listed?
No. The directory is open to any Latino-owned business in the area. Coming to an event is a great way to meet the community in person, but it is not required to get listed.
What kinds of businesses are in the directory?
The directory spans professional services, beauty and personal care, creative and media, food, and more. If you are Latino-owned and serving Baltimore or the DMV, your category has a home here.
What areas does the directory cover?
Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and the greater DMV. Colado is rooted in Baltimore, and the directory reflects the Latino businesses building here.
Can I update my listing after it is published?
Yes. Your listing details can be updated after it goes live. If you need a hand, reach out through our contact page and we will point you in the right direction.
How is this different from a regular business listing site?
Most directories are scraped databases or pay-to-play ad boards. This one is built by hand, business by business, inside a real community of Latino entrepreneurs. A listing here is not just a pin on a map, it is part of the Colado network.
How do I add my business to the directory?
Submit the short listing form with your business name, category, a brief description, and how people can reach you. It takes about five minutes. Once we review it, your business goes live. Start your listing.
Where can I meet these businesses in person?
Colado hosts in-person events across Baltimore at Latino-owned venues, where many of the people and businesses in this directory show up. It is the best way to meet the community face to face.
Does listing my business help me get found online?
Every approved business gets its own page on the Colado site with your name, description, and category. It is public and included in our sitemap, so it becomes one more place your business lives online, right next to the community that already knows you.
